This site uses no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics. Here is exactly what it does use.
Most websites open with a banner asking permission to track you. This one does not, because it does not track you. Last updated 13 September 2026.
Why there is no cookie banner
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, consent is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary — analytics, advertising, personalisation and similar. This site sets none of those, so there is nothing to ask you to consent to. A banner would be theatre.

What is not used
- No Google Analytics, or any other third-party analytics.
- No advertising or retargeting pixels — no Meta pixel, no LinkedIn Insight tag.
- No social media tracking widgets. Links to other sites are plain links.
- No fonts loaded from Google or any other third party — our fonts are served from this domain, so no font provider sees your IP address.
- No embedded video players that track you. Project walkthrough videos are hosted on this domain and load only when you press play.
- No content delivery network beyond our own host.
In practice this means that loading a page of this site contacts exactly one server: ours.
Server logs
Separately from cookies, our web host keeps standard server logs including IP addresses, and we record the IP address and time of form submissions to enforce rate limits and investigate abuse. These are described in the privacy policy and are kept for 90 days.
How to control cookies anyway
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies through its settings. Blocking the session cookie will stop the membership and contact forms from submitting, because the security check cannot complete. Everything else on the site will continue to work.
If this ever changes
If UK ULDA later adds analytics, we will use a privacy-respecting, cookie-free tool where possible. If a tool requiring consent is ever introduced, a proper consent banner will appear with it, defaulting to off, and this page will be updated first.
